Awesome, Lovely and very rare pirates cob. A coin of the 17th century , S pan ish Empire. Mostly well struck for the type. Comes from a shipwreck (sea washed).

3 dates, 3 assayer's marks and 3 mint marks (one on legend). Name of the king visible. These type of coins have circulated in the American Spanish colonies and were of legal currency in the Colonies & in the US until the Civil War, in the 19th century. Mint: Potosi (as Alto Peru).
