Awesome, Lovely and very rare pirates cob. A coin of the 17th century , S pan ish Empire. Comes from a shipwreck (sea washed). Mostly well struck for the type. Lions almost Passant, typical of the type and Assayer. Lions changed (usually castles and lions) on Rv. 5 lilly flower in the royal coat of arms (Ov).

Utline (grafila) with big dots. These type of coins have circulated in the American Spanish colonies and were of legal currency in the Colonies & in the US until the Civil War, in the 19th century. Mint: Potosi (as Alto Peru). Rowned Royal heraldic shield of the king.
