Here is an authentic 1783 Spanish 8 Reale Silver Pillar Dollar which was part of a 1993 Spanish shipwreck find 50 miles off the Louisiana coast. Please see photos of historical details. This coin was minted at the Mexico City Mint and bears the assayer FF mark. Some coin specifications are printed in the holders reverse. These specimens are sometimes referred to as Portrait Dollars do to the reigning monarch which was Carlos III on this coin.

I have a 1797 8 Reale Pillar Dollar listed and it has the portrait of Carlos III' s son. Please note that I have the best offer option on for some of you folks who may not be fond of auctions.
