A beautiful example of a Mexico cob of assayer L from Carlos II "Charles the Mad King". 8 reales, with awesome rectangular shape, and super cool bent ends! This was caused when workers at the mint would hammer the sharp edges of freshly cut cobs in order to not poke anyone. This cob is also very near full weight at 26 grams! This cob has very good details on both sides of the coin.
It was recovered by metal detector on land, as evidenced by the dirt still stuck to the coin.
