Antique historical artifact, 1684 Charles II era, assayer V, Spanish silver cob of a 2 reales coin, mined and minted in Bolivia showing one of the two pillars of Hercules with the other long ago cut and or rubbed away. Below the pillar can be seen the waves and it is known that only reales minted in Bolivia featured the pillars of Hercules on the waves. Cob measures 18 x 17 mm at it's greatest dimensions and weighs 2.3 grams. Note this listing is for one cob, the first image shows the front and back of the same coin.
